These disclosures supplement the information contained in our Privacy Notice by providing additional information about the privacy rights available to individual residents of certain states in the United States and our personal data processing practices relating to those individuals. For a detailed description of how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process personal data, please read our Privacy Notice.

Nevada Residents

If you are a resident of the state of Nevada in the United States, you have the right to opt out of the sale of your personal data. Although we do not currently sell personal data of Nevada residents (as defined under Nevada law), you may submit a request to opt-out of the sale of your personal data by contacting us at privacy@futuresecure.ai.

State-Specific Privacy Disclosures

These Additional United States Privacy Disclosures (for residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia)  apply solely to and provide additional information about how we collect, use, disclose and otherwise process Personal Data, either online or offline, of individual residents of certain states in the United States as required under applicable law.

Personal Data Disclosures, Sales and Targeted Advertising

We disclose all of the categories of Personal Data we collect to the categories of recipients set forth in the “How We Share Your Personal Data” section of our Privacy Notice. However, we do not sell Personal Data, and we do not process or otherwise share Personal Data for the purpose of displaying advertisements that are selected based on Personal Data obtained or inferred over time from an individual’s activities across non-affiliated businesses or websites, applications, or other services (otherwise known as “targeted advertising” or “cross-context behavioral advertising”).

Depending on your state of residency and subject to certain legal limitations and exceptions, you may be able to limit or opt-out of the sale of Personal Data or the processing of Personal Data for purposes of targeted advertising (as described in the “Your Additional U.S. Privacy Choices” section below).

Please note we do not sell the Personal Data of individuals we know to be less than 16 years of age, or such younger age as required by applicable law, or share such information for targeted advertising purposes.

Sensitive Personal Data

The following personal data elements we collect may be classified as “sensitive” under certain privacy laws:

• Government ID numbers, including social security number, driver's license number, state identification card number, or passport number.
• Race, ethnicity or national origin, including where collected through voluntary self-identification questions in our application process.
• Citizenship or immigration status
• Criminal history, including information about criminal convictions and offenses, where permitted by law.
• Health data, including information regarding an individual's medical history, mental or physical health condition, or medical treatment or diagnosis, including where collected through voluntary self-identification questions in our application process.

We use Sensitive Personal Data for the purposes set forth in the “How We Use Your Personal Data” section of our Privacy Notice.

We do not sell Sensitive Personal Data, and we do not process or otherwise share Sensitive Personal Data for the purpose of targeted advertising. However, depending on your state of residency and subject to certain legal limitations and exceptions, you may be able to limit, or withdraw your consent for, our processing of Sensitive Personal Data (as described in the “Your Additional U.S. Privacy Choices” section below).

Automated Decision-Making and Profiling

We may use automated tools in recruitment to support human review, including by parsing CVs or résumés, summarizing candidate information, identifying role-relevant skills or experience, assisting with candidate ranking or prioritization, and routing applications. We do not use AI systems to make solely automated hiring decisions, independently reject candidates, or make final decisions about any candidate without human involvement. Where required by applicable law, you may have the right to exercise control over, opt out of, or request human review of certain automated processing or profiling activities, as set forth in the “Your Additional U.S. Privacy Choices” section below.

Your Additional U.S. Privacy Choices

Depending on your state of residency and subject to certain legal limitations and exceptions, you may be able to exercise some or all of the following rights:

• Right to Know: The right to confirm whether we are processing personal data about you and, for residents of California and Oregon only, to obtain certain personalized details about the personal data we have collected about you, including
  • The categories of personal data collected;
  • The categories of sources of the personal data;
  • The purposes for which the personal data were collected;
  • The categories of personal data disclosed to third parties (if any), and the categories of recipients to whom this personal data were disclosed;
  • The categories of personal data shared for targeted advertising purposes (if any), and the categories of recipients to whom the personal data were disclosed for these purposes;
  • The categories of personal data sold (if any) and the categories of third parties to whom the personal data were sold; and
  • For Oregon and Minnesota residents only, a list of specific third parties to whom personal data have been disclosed.
• Right to Access & Portability: The right to obtain access to the personal data we have collected about you and, where required by law, the right to obtain a copy of the personal data in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, readily usable format that allows you to transmit the data to another entity without hindrance.
• Right to Correction: The right to correct inaccuracies in your personal data, taking into account the nature of the personal data and the purposes of the processing of the personal data.
• Right to Control Over Sensitive Personal Data: The right to exercise control over our collection and processing of certain Sensitive Personal Data.
• Right to Control Over Automated Decision-Making / Profiling: The right to direct us not to use automated decision-making or profiling for certain purposes.
• Right to Opt Out of Sales or Targeted Advertising: The right to opt out of the sale of personal data or the processing of personal data for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising, where applicable.

• Right to Deletion: The right to have us delete personal data we maintain about you.

Depending on your state of residency, you may also have the right not to receive retaliatory or discriminatory treatment in connection with a request to exercise the above rights. The exercise of these rights may affect our ability to provide certain services where the difference is reasonably related to the impact of your request or otherwise permitted by law.

Submitting Privacy Rights Requests

Because we do not currently sell personal data or process personal data for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising, we do not currently offer a separate cookie-based sale or targeted advertising opt-out mechanism. If our practices change, we will provide any notices and choices required by applicable law. Where applicable, we honor Global Privacy Control signals as described in our Privacy Notice.

Before processing certain requests, we may need to verify your identity and confirm that you are a resident of a state that offers the requested right. To verify your identity, we may request information such as your name, email address, state of residency, and other information reasonably necessary to match your request to information we maintain about you.

In certain circumstances, we may decline or limit your request, particularly where we are unable to verify your identity or locate your information in our systems, or where you are not a resident of one of the eligible states.

Submitting Authorized Agent Requests

In certain circumstances, you may use an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf through the methods described above. We may require evidence of the agent’s authority to act on your behalf and may still need to verify your identity directly before processing the request.

Appealing Privacy Rights Decisions

Depending on your state of residency, you may be able to appeal a decision we have made in connection with your privacy rights request. You may submit an appeal by replying to the communication resolving your original request or by contacting us at privacy@futuresecure.ai.

Depending on your state of residency, you may also have the right to submit a complaint to the attorney general or other applicable state authority regarding our privacy practices.

Additional California-Specific Disclosures

The following disclosures only apply to residents of the State of California.

California Categories of Personal Data

California law requires we provide disclosures by reference to statutory categories of Personal Data. To address this obligation, we have identified below the relevant California Personal Data categories for the personal data described in the Personal Data we collect section of our Privacy Notice:

• Identifiers, such as name, title, signature, mailing address, email address, telephone number, IP address, device identifiers, account credentials, government identification numbers, and similar identifiers.
• Customer records, such as contact information, business contact details, billing or payment information, account credentials, government identification numbers, and other information maintained in customer, candidate or investor records.
• Protected classification characteristics, such as gender, marital status, date of birth, race, ethnicity, national origin, citizenship or immigration status, disability or health information for accommodations, and other characteristics you choose to provide or that we collect where permitted or required by law.
• Commercial information, such as products or services purchased, obtained or considered, customer relationship information, billing or payment information, and records relating to business transactions with us.
• Internet / network information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, usage data, cookie data, and information about how you interact with our website.
• Geolocation data, such as general location information derived from IP address or similar technical information.
• Professional / employment information, such as CVs or résumés, cover letters, employment history, job titles, work addresses and telephone numbers, professional experience, skills, references, interview notes, assessment results, recruitment status, compensation expectations, work authorization information, and background check information where permitted by law.
• Education information, such as academic background, qualifications, degrees, certifications, languages spoken, and other education-related information included in application materials.
• Sensitive personal data, such as government identification numbers, race, ethnicity or national origin, citizenship or immigration status, health or disability information for accommodations, and other sensitive information you choose to provide or that we collect where permitted or required by law.
• Other Personal Data, such as information you provide through forms, information requests, registrations, messages, communications, uploaded materials, or other interactions with us.
• Inferences, such as role-relevant skills, experience, qualifications or other information inferred from candidate materials or website interactions to support the purposes described in our Privacy Notice.
• Audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory, or similar information, such as telephone recordings, electronic communications, and other information collected through electronic monitoring as described in our Privacy Notice.

Notice of Financial Incentives

We do not currently offer financial incentives or loyalty programs that provide benefits in exchange for the collection, retention, sale or sharing of personal data. If our practices change, we will provide any notices and obtain any consents required by applicable law before offering such a program.
